We believe that the Brass Rat tells a societal history, so this history definitely must be preserved! We are doing everything that we can to bring this project to life and we'd love your help! Building a comprehensive history of the Brass Rat is a long process so we'd love to hear your stories. We hope to bring all of this information together so that anyone interested can very easily learn about MIT and the ring's beautiful history. Over the years, many different organizations across MIT have recorded pieces of the Brass Rat's history - organizations including the Tech and the MIT Alumni Association. The purpose of the project is to centralize all information about the Brass Rat since its creation in 1929 and the committee that designs it, RingComm.
